All effectsNeon Glow Effect — how it works
Trace the edges of a photo with glowing neon lines on a dark background.
From edges to neon tubes
The effect detects edges in your photo, draws them as bright lines in the neon color and adds a blurred glow around them, just like light spilling from a glass tube. The original image is darkened underneath so the lines pop.
Tuning the glow
Line width sets how thick the tubes are, glow and glow spread how far the light reaches, intensity how bright it burns. Background controls how much of the original photo remains — zero leaves only the neon on black.
Photos that glow best
Clear silhouettes — portraits, cars, buildings, products on plain backgrounds — produce clean neon outlines. Busy textures create many small lines; raise line width or remove the background first in Image Flow.
