How the Image Optimizer Works

Reduce image file sizes for faster page loads without sacrificing visual quality. Optimized images improve Core Web Vitals and user experience.

Smart Compression

Lossy and lossless algorithms analyze each image and pick the optimal compression level. Get up to 80% smaller files with virtually no visible quality loss.

Batch Processing

Upload multiple images at once and compress them all in a single batch. Download results individually or as a ZIP archive.

All Major Formats

Supports PNG, JPEG, WebP, and AVIF input. Each format uses its own specialized compression engine for the best possible results.

Visual Comparison

Preview compressed images side-by-side with the originals. Check quality before downloading to make sure the result meets your standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Lossy compression removes data that is barely perceptible to the human eye. At the default quality setting, most people cannot tell the difference between the original and the compressed version. You can increase quality if you need pixel-perfect output.

Lossless compression reduces file size without any quality loss — every pixel remains identical. Lossy compression discards some data to achieve much smaller files. For web images, lossy compression at 80-90% quality is usually the best balance.

WebP offers the best compression-to-quality ratio and is supported by all modern browsers. Use AVIF for even smaller files if you do not need legacy browser support. JPEG is best for photographs, and PNG is needed when you require transparency.

Uploaded images are processed in memory and automatically deleted after compression. Nothing is stored permanently — your files remain private.
