All effectsVignette Effect — how it works
Darken — or tint — the corners to focus attention on the center.
Why vignettes work
Eyes are drawn to the brightest part of an image. Darkening the corners makes the center the brightest area, so attention lands on the subject — which is why photographers add vignettes to portraits, food and product shots.
Strength, size, color
Strength sets how dark the corners get, size how far toward the center the fade reaches. Black is the classic look, white gives a dreamy wedding-photo fade, and a brand color turns the vignette into a soft frame.
Keep it natural
For realistic photos keep the vignette subtle enough that people notice the subject, not the dark corners. Pair it with Film Grain for an analog look.
